The Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Book Prize was first presented in 2009. It is an annual award to recognise recipients of the Lee Kuan Yew Scholarship to Encourage Upgrading, who have achieved the most outstanding academic results at ITE. This year, 5 students received the Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Book Prize.
